Cleve Backster Recovering from Stroke

The following is likely old news to many, but I just received this email.

Regardless, recovery takes time. Our combined thoughts, prayers and cards can speed up his recovery.

(parenthesis and bold are mine)

Ralph,
I'm not sure that you are aware but Cleve (Backster) suffered a stroke a couple of weeks ago. It has partially paralyzed his throat and 1/2 of his vocal cords. After a few days in the hospital, he was transferred to a rehab facility. He has been unable to eat and was fed by a feeding tube through his nose into his stomach. Last week they removed the feeding tube from his nose and surgically inserted it through his stomach. Cleve remains in good spirits and says he is bored and hungry all of the time. Cards are appreciated and can be mailed to the Backster School of Lie Detection, 861 6th Ave, Suite 403, San Diego, CA 92101. We see Cleve several times a week and he really enjoys reading the cards. Thanks and have a great day.
