- DOJ - The headline "FBI Loses 40% of New Recruits to Failed Polygraph Tests" is flurrying about the internet news, but no one seems to be asking the more important question of why is this happening. The aforementioned headline also seems to assign a negative connotation to the statistic without any look at the causes of such numbers. I am finding it very common for much of the media to automatically assign an open or subtle negative value judgment on polygraph information. Is there a bias, conscious or unconscious to assume negativity towards polygraph? If so, is there something we can do about it? You decide.
